Caroline (Carrie) is a Clinical Psychologist who seeks to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to share their experiences. Her warmth, empathy, and commitment to a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship form the foundations for helping clients develop skills and strategies to make positive changes and improve their wellbeing. Carrie has experience working with a range of presentations including anxiety, panic, depression, insomnia and other sleep difficulties, phobias, OCD, perfectionism, trauma, adjusting to major life events, difficulties with drugs and alcohol, perinatal concerns including non-directive pregnancy counselling, marital and family difficulties, and grief and loss. Carrie tailors therapy to an individual client’s needs and draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including for Insomnia (CBTi), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS), and mindfulness-based approaches. She also conducts psychometric assessments for children and adults, including the assessment of ADHD. Carrie works at Burwood.
