Supervision & Workshops
Dr Janina Szyndler is an Authorised Supervisor for the College of Clinical Psychology and for the College of Educational and Developmental Psychology and offers a range of supervision and professional development opportunities including:
- Small Group supervision, in groups of up to five psychologists, incorporating discussion around journal articles and case presentations.
- Small group professional development covering a range of topics including ethics, working with families in conflict, report writing, and autistic spectrum disorders.
- Supervision for staff working with parents and children in NGOs.
Janina has taught, managed, and supervised psychologists from beginning interns to experienced practitioners.
Student placements
The practice regularly has interns who are completing post graduate qualifications (Masters or Doctorates) in Clinical Psychology at WSU, ACAP, Wollongong, Macquarie, UTS, or ACU. Dr Janina Szyndler, Michelle Tanious, Elizabeth Byron, Catherine Ephraums and Poppy Rourke are Board-approved supervisors. We offer some short-term placements for medical students. We provide some assessments and therapy at a reduced fee if they are conducted by an intern.
