Baxter is a supportive psychologist who takes a collaborative, formulation-driven approach to working with children, adolescents, and adults. He draws on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailoring these treatments to your needs. Baxter has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, neurodiversity, personality disorders, and trauma. He also offers psychometric testing to assess for learning, memory, and attention difficulties. Overall, whether in therapy or assessment, Baxter endeavours to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment to explore life’s challenges and to identify strategies to improve well-being. Baxter works at Burwood on Monday and Tuesday.
