Be Dyslexia Aware

At Apex we regularly assess children and adults who may have specific learning difficulties including dyslexia. Dyslexia affects people of all ages—in schools, workplaces and throughout our community. Yet it is still often misunderstood.

We are sharing this practical and accessible webinar made by SPELD NSW which explores what dyslexia is, how it can affect learning, work and everyday life, and the strengths and challenges commonly experienced by people with dyslexia.

By watching this you will learn how to recognise possible signs of dyslexia and discover simple ways to create more understanding, inclusive and supportive environments. Designed for schools, businesses and community organisations, the webinar can be shared with staff, families, clients and the wider community.

We aim to help raise awareness, reduce stigma and support SPELD NSW’s work to make literacy support and information accessible to everyone.
