Nisrin Kheir is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. Nisrin’s skills and knowledge lie in the assessment of and treatment of mental health problems and disorders. She has a special interest in child & adolescent psychology and trauma therapy. Nisrin’s therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, empathic, compassionate, and engaging. Her techniques are evidence based and adapted to suit the individual needs of her client. The theoretical background of her work is embedded in attachment theory and neurodevelopmental models. Nisrin has worked in schools, community, and mental health services as well as private psychology practices. Nisrin continues to stay up to date with the latest research and knowledge in psychology by attending regular professional development trainings, workshops, and supervision. Nisrin is also an accredited supervisor and provides supervision to postgraduate psychology students. She has many years of experience working with people from culturally and diverse backgrounds.
